Their final opponent is St. Gloriana Girls' College led by Darjeeling. And in the St. Gloriana team, a curious figure appeared—Alice Shimada, who transferred to St. Gloriana in order to fight Miho Nishizumi once more.

「The battle with this team is truly, this is the last time！」（This battle with this team, truly, this is the last！）

With both schools holding fast to convictions they cannot concede, the final of the Winter Continuous Track Cup begins.

Opening footage highlights: Darjeeling's retirement announcement and Alice's obsession.

In the 10-minute opening video released this time, there are several noteworthy plot developments:

Darjeeling's Retirement and Study Abroad Plans——In the footage, it is revealed that Darjeeling will retire from Tankery after graduation and go to study in the UK, majoring in cultural anthropology and researching the history of black tea. She said: "Someday, I want to use black tea to bring world peace." Therefore, she hopes to end her Tankery career on a perfect note with a victory. These remarks add deeper emotional weight to the final match.

Alice's Transfer and Rematch Declaration— Alice Shimada transferred to St. Gloriana Girls' College specifically to have a rematch with Miho Nishizumi. Her line in the video, 'You are the first opponent I've sincerely wanted to fight—so I will defeat you' ('You are the first person I've ever truly wanted to seriously fight—therefore, I will defeat you'), reveals her intense obsession with this showdown.

Rosehip's Infiltration Operation—The footage also intersperses a comedic segment in which St. Gloriana's Rosehip infiltrates Ooarai Girls' Academy. Claiming to have carried out a "perfect disguise," she sneaks into the tank warehouse, only to be seen through by the Ooarai students; she then accidentally falls into a fish pond, and in the end is treated to a "man-eating anglerfish hotpot." This lighthearted slice-of-life interlude adds the familiar humorous rhythm of Girls und Panzer to the tense eve of the final match.

Release Information

Part 5 will be released nationwide in Japan starting Friday, October 9, 2026. Many fans on X (formerly Twitter) said, "The first 10 minutes have been released!? So it's okay to post spoilers here!!?" (The first 10 minutes have been made public!? Does that mean spoilers here are fine!!?), feeling both surprised and delighted that the official side had so generously released the opening content. Some fans even specially ordered Nuwara Eliya black tea to go with their viewing, responding in a practical way to the tea culture depicted in the work.

Conclusion

From the opening footage, it is clear that Part 5 is not merely a straightforward tank duel; it also carries Darjeeling's wish to retire, Arisu's fixation on Miho, and the convictions that the members of both schools cannot give up on. As the tagline says—"Just one more win—." Just one more win to go: can Ooarai Girls' High School defeat St. Gloriana in Darjeeling's final battle? This final match of the Winter Continuous Track Cup is one that every fan should witness with their own eyes in the cinema.

Official
