The journey from the airport to the hotel was quite long, but he even took us to experience the Drive-Thru in the Philippines in the middle of the journey! I'm sure we wouldn't be able to do that if we were traveling by ourselves! The feeling of sitting in the back seat and eating fast food was somehow like a family trip, and it made me feel happy. And the fast food was really delicious! What's even more amazing is that the tour guide invited us to eat it! Oh my god, why are they so nice ......? We tried to say that we should be the ones to treat us, but he refused, saying "I'm sorry". What was the point of "sorry"? Ms. Risa and I were both surprised: "Is this the point of shyness? Is this a cultural specialty of the Philippines? I've seen a few of these restaurants in Cebu. I think they're a famous fast food chain in the area. I really want to write a good review to ⭐︎6! We stayed at a hotel that surprisingly had private pools in every room! It was so luxurious! In the evening, we chatted with Ms. Risa in the room and drank flavored beers, it was super blissful~! One day, while we were in the pool, the room next to ours was filled with loud music and high spirits, and the atmosphere was really fun. This soup is full of prawns and vegetables, and it's so satisfying that it's like a staple soup! Also, even though I consider myself a rainy lady, the weather on this trip was very nice! Maybe it's because of the season? There were no thunderstorms at all, and I was thrilled to see the stars at night. It was amazing to see so many stars with my naked eyes!
Risa-san even accompanied me to a cafe near the city center!
I've always thought that the Philippines has a deep coffee culture, so I was really happy to have a cup of local coffee on this trip! For dessert, I felt that the local flavor is on the sweeter side. The cocoa powder that I bought as a souvenir was so sweet that it woke me up in no time. Maybe Filipinos really have a sweet tooth (laughs).
The return flight was early in the morning, so we left before dawn. The scenery before dawn was really beautiful! The sky was so wide and the colors were so bright.
