The creator, ChuChan, has seen many opinions that it is difficult to "read aloud" in live broadcasts due to copyright issues, and decided to create an app that combines illustrated books and images that can be used directly in live broadcasts and videos, and launched a crowdfunding campaign.
This picture book, which takes the form of a mascot character adventure, is different from a regular picture book and will be released for free as an app on Steam, allowing users to use it in live streams and videos via screenshots.
There is also a "Gallery" page in the app to introduce the people involved, as well as a variety of crowdfunding reward options, including names in the artbook, appearances in the gallery, character appearances, etc., and various in-kind rewards such as a physical artbook, an embossed keychain, or a stand.
In addition, stretch goals have been set, such as adding seven mini-games after the 100% goal is achieved, and if the 200% goal is reached, voice actor Tomoki Ono will read from the picture book, and will read from the mini-game "Counting Sheep" as well.
And if the target of 300% is reached, voice actors Yusuke Shirai and Natsuzumi Takamori will read from the picture book. And! ! Both of them will also voice the card draw section of the mini-game.
Crowdfunding funds will be used for app development, audio, scriptwriter commissions, illustration, UI production, merchandise production, video production, physical book production, Steam distribution fees, and crowdfunding handling fees.
The project plans to close for crowdfunding on March 31st, start developing the app and sending out thank-you notes in April, contact backers who chose the "Mascot Character Creation Program" in early June, start creating and sending out merchandise in mid-June, and release the app on Steam from July to mid-August.
If the target amount of fundraising is not reached, the "All or Nothing" method will be used to refund the backers and suspend the delivery of the return.
