The Asahi Shimbun is one of Japan's national newspapers, published by the Asahi Shimbun Company, and its circulation is second only to the Yomiuri Shimbun. On April 28, Asahi Shimbun published its interview with voice actress Nazumi Takamori, who plays Zi Yuxin/Heartbeat Angel in "You and Idol Pretty Cure".

Takamori Nazumi's Brilliant with Yourotten

The currently popular anime "You and Idol Pretty Cure♪" (ABC TV and TV Asahi series, Sunday morning 8:30) has launched a monthly column "Shine Bright with You", inviting the leading voice actors to talk about their hearts. Appearing at the end of April is Takamori Nazumi, who plays the third idol Pretty Cure "Heartbeat Angel", a first-year junior high school student named Zi Yuxin.

From the deep meaning of the character's catchphrase "My heart is throbbing!" to Takamori's own admiration for a certain unique uncle... Let's listen to her story.

From the audition, I felt that if I was going to act, I had to be absolutely careful.

Transformed into an idol angel, Sakura Uta is a genius who can sing her favorite songs naturally. Nana Aokaze, who has transformed into a seductive angel, can play the piano, and has both the delicacy and courage to take a step back.

Compared with the two, Xiaoxin, who is one year younger, is a diligent type who has been working hard at dancing since childhood. The feeling of "I can do it!" and "I want to do it!" is very consistent with my personality, so I think it should be easier to act.

Xiaoxin was originally a fan of idol Angel and Angel of Charm, and set up a study group for the two of them at school. For her, these two people were the first time she was "pushed" by others in her life, and it can be said that they were the beginning of her desire to "push".

Maybe I just simply like dancing until now. I feel like it suits my interests, but this is the first time I've felt "like falling in love at first sight".

I once had this kind of enthusiasm and only pushed one person.

That is Mr. Itao Soroku.

He is very familiar to Takamori's fans, and is a unique uncle with a quirky charm. But how do you say whether it feels shiny or not? Does it fit the description of "My heart is beating fast!"?

The opportunity came from a skit I saw on TV when I was a child. Accompanied by Godzilla's theme song, "Captain Itao" emerged from the water with a splash. His expression didn't change at all, but it was somehow very amusing. The surreal and mysterious adult male I met for the first time stole my heart.

There is a desire to know "what exactly is this person?" and there is also a feeling like first love. "Why do I like it so much..." I think I have the same feeling as Xiaoxin.

I buy his book "Itao Diary" every year and have also attended fan appreciation festivals. Once, during a radio program that I was hosting, Mr. Itao congratulated me on my birthday in his promotional message. When I heard that, I cried silently... I really like him.

Is this what Xiao Xin meant by "my heart is beating fast!"? How to say it. Rather than saying that Mr. Itao's push is sparkling, it's more like a "swamp".

However, the phrase "my heart is beating fast" can not only express "cuteness", but also express all kinds of passionate feelings such as "I am burning now" and "I am motivated". After I got the script, I realized that the meaning of this sentence is much broader than I imagined.

So, I put some effort into saying this line.

When she played the fairy Mimi in "Delicious Party♡Pretty Cure" (2022-23), most of her lines were "Mi~". So I would write "That's great!" or "Why?" and other "Japanese translations" on the script. Because if you don't do this, it will just become a random "rice~".

A similar approach was used this time, and the script was written to describe what kind of mood the "heart throbbing" in this scene corresponds to.

What impressed me most was the handshake scene in episode 10 (aired on April 13).

Miyu-chan, a fan girl of Angel of Heart, said, "My heart is throbbing!", and Angel of Heart also responded, "My heart is throbbing." I wrote "Me too. Thank you!" on the script.

I was surprised that this sentence can also be used for conversation. For the first time, I understood the broad meaning of this sentence. I think whenever my heart is beating, I can express it all with "my heart is throbbing", so even if it's an impromptu performance, I won't use other words.

In terms of the breadth of this meaning, Mr. Itao to me can perhaps also be classified as "my heart is throbbing."

Due to the epidemic, not all members recorded "Delicious Party" together. This is the first time that all the members of "Pretty Cure" are present. I feel the preciousness of this.

The first time I heard Matsuoka Misato speak her lines as an idol angel, I was really moved. I felt the overwhelming light, “This is what an idol is.”

I thought it would turn into a scene where the veteran voice actors supported the young newcomer Komiri, but that wasn’t the case. She leads us with her powerful acting skills, and we just have to believe and follow. This sense of reliability is great.

The Angel with Winking Eyes is a rational person. The actress Takahashi Minami is also the type who thinks deeply, so she's a good fit.

Even though we think Takahashi's acting is great, she herself is sometimes dissatisfied. This is something that is difficult to express even though I want to, and this is in line with Nana-chan's delicacy.

For all Pretty Cure characters, I think the voice actors who become Pretty Cure are "destined to be one". The same is true for everyone who watched "Delicious Party" as Mimi did. Although it may be a bit presumptuous to say this, we are destined to become this this time, and I am working hard with this thought in mind.
