Introduction
Saito is a supporting character in the 2013 TV anime version of Rozen Maiden, voiced by Ms. Natsumi Takamori.
The premise of this work is a parallel world where "the winding was not chosen": university student Jun Sakurada works part-time at a bookstore and receives an email asking for help from his middle-school self. Saito is Jun's part-time coworker and a girl who aspires to be an actress.

Saito is a daily-life route character newly added in the 2013 version, with her scenes centered on college-student Jun's part-time job and theater troupe life. Her existence gives the parallel-world Jun a realistic subplot unrelated to Rozen Maiden, and also gives this version a bit more of a slice-of-life feel.
