The Asahi Shimbun is one of Japan's national newspapers, published by the Asahi Shimbun Company, with a circulation second only to the Yomiuri Shimbun. On October 26, the Asahi Shimbun published its interview with the voice actor who plays the role in "Idol Precure You and Me♪"Shion Murasame / Cure Idolthe character.

Once a month, a serialization "Sparkling Brilliant with You" in which the voice actors of the currently airing anime "Idol Precure You and Me♪" (ABC TV・TV Asahi series, Sunday mornings at 8:30) share their thoughts. Appearing at the end of October is the voice of the character who transforms into Cure Kyun-Kyun 的Shigure KokoroMs. Natsumi Takamori.
KokoroShe is very strict about dancing, and is also the number one fan of Idol Precure. Recently she has started to show all kinds of expressions. First, let's begin with that episode's behind-the-scenes story that gives a glimpse of an unexpected side of her...

Shall I tease him a bit!
The number of episodes of "Idol Precure You and Me" has already exceeded 30, and I feel thatKokoroThe range of emotions she can express has become even wider.
The staff, including Series Director Chiaki Kon, accept the things we voice actors freely bring to the role. I think it's because we've gradually come to understand, over time, that it's such a supportive, open-minded set.
For example, when I ask, "Would it be better to change this line a little?" sometimes the other person instead asks me, "What do you think?KokoroWhat would she say?"
I see—so I can think about that too. I can think aboutKokoroThat discovery was quite important to me.
I don't want to limit things because of my own arbitrary imagination.Kokoroher feelings or what she can do.
In episode 31, "The Center of the Idol Precure!?" (aired September 7), there's a scene whereKokoroShe asks the fairy Zachary, "By the way, Zachary, are you a Wink Angel?" This isKokoroa scene where she teases Zachary, who won't honestly admit that he supports Wink.
It was only after watching the broadcast that I was surprised to discover,KokoroSo she was using such a cute face to incite Zachary, huh—so she could make that kind of expression, huh. During the recording stage, we mostly recorded while looking at unfinished footage, and I hadn't seen the expression at the center of this scene until just before it aired.
The stage directions for this line didn't specifically say "tease." There was also the option to ask in a more straightforward, matter-of-fact tone.
However, I felt that the accumulation of episodes up to that point had solidly built their relationship.
Zachary had once been a member of the Cut Cut Gang, and fromKokorotook the shining energy from her mom. RegardingKokoroFor her, if she wanted to dislike Zachary, there were countless moments when she could have disliked him at any time.
But Zachary regained the shining energy herself. AndKokoroShe also has a cheerful side, and now she's accepted Zachary as a partner, working hard together on fan club activities.
Also, among the cast members participating in KimiPuri, starting with Mr. Setsuji Sato who plays Zachlin, everyone has a sense of "playfulness" in their acting. I sometimes feel that if we were just being serious, we might lose out in some aspects.
Amid this accumulation, I thought, "KokoroMaybe I can tease Zachary a bit?" So, I tried saying that line with a slightly teasing tone toward Zachary.
Although up until now there wasn'tKokoroI decided back then to try teasing Zachary a bit in a scene where I'd stir things up for someone else (laughs).
And challenges like this, Director Kon and the others sometimes accept as-is with a generous mindset. I think it's precisely because of that,Kokorothe emotions will look even richer, I think.
I'm glad I performed that way in an environment where I'm allowed to do things freely.
It comes full circle here
I deeply feel that "nothing is unconnected."
About my "favorite" and Heartbeat this character, and I feel there's a connection there too. Haven't I mentioned who my "favorite" is yet?
Last time, did I only talk about Mr. Soji Itao? Ahahahaha (laughs).
From late elementary school until around middle school, I was a huge fan of "Morning Musume." and Ami Suzuki.
Back then, it was the audition boom. I watched "ASAYAN" (TV Tokyo network) too, and I'd record music shows, learn the choreography, and sing and dance with my friends.
I even took the Morning Musume audition with a friend. The first time I ever went to Tokyo in my life was for that.
The result was that I failed in the first round of selection at the Tokyo venue. But that gave me a sense that the dream "I want to be an idol" had reached a conclusion within me. It didn't become a dream I wanted to fulfill as an adult.
Since then, I've been working as a voice actress, and now like this, I've been given the chance to meet Cure Kyun Kyun the connection of encountering this character. I really think that's an amazing thing.
Among all the Pretty Cure series works, for me to become a Pretty Cure in "KimiPuri," which has an idol motif.
When I was cast in this role after the audition, I was quietly moved, thinking, "My childhood admiration is being fulfilled here."
I also heard from an active idol that she likesHeartbeat, and that made me feel a strange kind of connection.
The other day, I appeared on the podcast program "Wasuta's Nyandeful Radio!" (distributed on the YouTube channel "ABC Radio Podcast," etc.) by the idol group "Wasuta (The World Standard)."
Because fellow member Ruka Mishina isHeartbeatI was recommended it, so they invited me.
Before recording, Mishina said, "There's no water," and even went outside the recording studio to get water for me. Kodama Ririka also kept telling me how much Mishina likesHeartbeat.
Huh, I can become their fan...? I might end up liking them~~? That's how I felt.
I had never directly heard what people active as idols thought about watching KimiPuri. Being able to hear how they enjoy it was very interesting and fun.

They love it so muchHeartbeatIt gives me a feeling of "joy mixed with embarrassment."
It's all connections
As for myself, I have the feeling that "I loveHeartbeat"I have that kind of pride. SeeingHeartbeatBeing praised and cheered on like this makes me happy.
However, that is ultimately the character being supported.
I'm the type who thinks that even when singing character songs at live performances as a voice actor, there's no need for any element of me, Natsumi Takamori as a person, to be there.
On October 18th, there's the live "Kimi to Idol Precure♪ LIVE2025 You＆I＝We're IDOL PRECURE" at Pacifico Yokohama. By the time this article is distributed, the live might already be over.
Standing on that stage is not justHeartbeatIdol Precure, I'll also stand on stage with everyone. It's a very strange feeling. I kept thinking, "Please don't look at 'me,' but at Precure."
But this time, I was told, "We want you to stand on stage with the feeling that not only the Pretty Cure on stage, but we voice actors are also Pretty Cure."
Indeed, unlike what I worry about, children are very flexible, and they probably won't look at me and think, "What is this adult?" When an Idol Precure song plays, that alone makes them enjoy it to the fullest, singing and dancing.
Small children might not yet understand the feeling of having an "oshi," but I feel that within young children, the feeling of "I love this" coexists with "I want to be this." Emotions that we graduated from as adults still exist within them.
Right now, I'm standing here believing in those who, with pure feelings, loveHeartbeat"I want to becomeHeartbeat" children's feelings, and prepare to take the stage.
HeartbeatIt made my dream come true. Of course, it's not that I myself became an idol, but I feel this is a way of making dreams come true that is only possible through the work of a voice actress.
Even things that seem far apart at first glance, nothing is wasted. I truly feel that everything is connected by bonds.
