Work Overview
"Nora, Princess, and Stray Cat Heart" is HARUKAZE's second visual novel, released on February 26, 2016, and established a reputation in the visual novel world with its unique style of "uproarious comedy + view of life and death."
The story is set in Sakurabuchi City. The protagonist, Tano Nora, lost his mother, and together with his housemate Yuri Natsuki, he runs the private school she left behind. One day, the Underworld Princess Patricia Of End descends to the human world, and an accident turns Nora into a black cat—thus the story begins.
After the common route, the game branches into four heroine routes; in 2017 it was adapted into a 5-minute short anime (all 12 episodes), presenting the characters' charm with an exaggerated comedic rhythm, and was fully funded and produced by HARUKAZE.
Ms. Natsumi Takamori plays the Underworld Princess Patricia—the main heroine of this work.

Plot (spoilers)
Below are the segments of the main game and the 12 anime episodes, including core settings and endings.
① Worldview and the Beginning of the Story
The setting is Sakurabuchi City. The protagonist, Handa Noriyoshi, lost his mother, and together with his housemate Yuri Natsuki, he runs the private school his mother left behind.
⚠️Spoilers: In the common route, Kuroki Michi asks Nora to practice "confessing" with her for some reason, and Patricia mistakes it for a magic ritual, causing Nora to be turned into a black cat—this is the starting point of the whole work.
After Nora becomes a black cat, he can no longer talk to anyone except Patricia (his eyes turn green when cat-ified), and the story unfolds between the two perspectives of "human" and "cat".
② Main Game: Four Heroine Routes
After the common route, the game splits into four heroine routes: Patricia, Kuroki Michi, Yuri Shachi, and Asuhara Yuki, with a total of four endings.
Each route respectively deals with the themes of a different character's "understanding of the surface world" and "view of life and death."
③ Anime 12-Episode Breakdown
Episodes 1–4 (Introduction): Episode 1 "I Turned into a Cat with Magic!?", Episode 2 "The One Who Doesn't Turn Around When Handing Out Handouts", Episode 3 "Our Memories", Episode 4 "Revolutionary".
Episodes 5–8 (Hilarious Daily Life): Episode 5 "Leviathan Stan", Episode 6 "World Peace" (the entire episode substitutes goat footage for the characters), Episode 7 "My Name Is Guest", Episode 8 "Summer Fireworks".
Episodes 9–12: Episode 9 "I'm Starting to Want to Go to the Donut Shop", Episode 10 "The Teacher Has No Intention of Searching for the Culprit" (adventure game-style presentation), Episode 11 "Decluttering", Episode 12 "Not Enough Clothes".
After the ending, there is a fixed short segment "Neko no Okangae," explained by different characters.
④ Sequel
The time of "Nora to Oujo to Noraneko no Kokoro 2" is shortly after Nora is turned into a cat, as the season turns to summer, and everyone encounters the Winter Princess Alice Disenbara Ankure while working part-time at a beach house.
The sequel adds 4 new characters, and the 3 supporting characters from the previous game (Lucia, Eurasia, Takada Nobuchina) are promoted to heroines.
⑤ ⚠️ Core Truth and Endings
