Introduction

Aoi Sorakado is《summer pockets》is the girl who sleeps without waking on Torishirojima, and also the heroineSorakado Ao's twin older sister. Her Japanese voice actress is Ms. Natsumi Takamori.

On the surface, she fell from a cliff while searching for the "glowing butterflies" her younger sister spoke of, and has been in a coma ever since; in truth, at the brink of death she voluntarily released her own memories, which scattered across the island as "Seven-Shadow Butterflies." Her love for her sister borders on obsession—to prove her sister was not lying, and to make her sister smile again, she insisted on going even knowing how dangerous the mountain is at night.

At the end of Ao's route, Ao and Hairi recover her Seven-Shadow Butterfly together, and Ao Sorakado finally awakens.

Personality and traits

💞 Extreme siscon

Every action she takes begins with her younger sister Ao. For a single word from her sister she will venture alone into the deep mountains at night, placing her sister's happiness above her own safety.

🌾 Gentle yet firm

Her tone is soft and her manner calm, but her will is extraordinarily strong. "Because I'm Ao's older sister, after all" directly points to her sense of self.

🌙 The silent watcher

Even while in a coma, she "kept watching over" her sister in some form, showing that she never left even after losing consciousness.

🌊 A Presence Defined by Contrast

She spends almost the entire main story asleep, yet in the "Island Pokémon" side route she is active as the strongest player, creating a striking contrast.

Seven-Shadow Butterfly

The "Seven-Shadow Butterflies" are legendary creatures on Torishirojima, said to collect the scattered memories of people. When Aoi Kamikura was on the verge of death, she turned her own memories into Seven-Shadow Butterflies that scattered across the whole island—this is both the reason for her slumber and the final connection between her and her sister.

In the parallel world of REFLECTION BLUE's "Island Pokémon," she appears under the name "Blue-Controlling Girl," the number one Island Pokémon player from ten years ago, regarded as an existence akin to a god.

Character Reviews

Aoi Sorakado is summer pockets She is the most typical character in the story who "completes the narrative through absence"—her presence is built upon others' longing for her. This design makes her awakening the most powerful emotional payoff of Aoi's route.

For Ms. Natsumi Takamori, this was a highly demanding performance with extremely few lines, yet one that required her voice alone to carry the weight of the entire character. With a soft voice that is almost a whisper, she portrays the act of "watching over" in a way that tugs at the heart.

"Because I'm Ao's older sister, after all."
